Good rich brown mahogany colour to the case and in a fair state of polish, looks to have been restored perhaps 20 - 30 years ago or more, a few old cracks running through the top of the case and some further old cracks and splits running around the door, giltwork with signs of old pitting and oxidisation, left hand gilt column on the door is lifting away a little at the bottom, two old repaired splits in the veneer at the plinth at 6 o'clock, dial looks repainted some years ago, showing some craquelure, back door with old repair to cracks and splits, comes with key to case, movement in very good clean order, with twin fusee and anchor escapement and engraved brass pendulum but no winding key.
