Oil on canvas cleaned and relined many years ago, looks to have been cut down from a larger work, hence the figure being offset to the left, some light surface scratching to the paint throughout, otherwise rather dirty with a fine but stable craquelure running throughout the paint, housed in a 19th century overpainted gilt gesso frame which is equally looking a little tatty, no labels or inscriptions verso.
