Lamb of Manchester. A Victorian Aesthetic period parcel ebonised thuya wood, walnut and marquetry dwarf library bookcase, with brass rail back, two central cupboards inlaid with panels of birds, flanked by six glazed doors and open shelves, ex Fine Art Society, W.14ft 7in. D.1ft 8in. H.4ft 1in.

This piece of furniture was stored in a warehouse where there was a fire and has suffered as a result with water damage from the sprinkler system, the top shows signs of old wear and tear notably a variety of scratches to each side, but this now in addition has pitting and marking from water having penetrated the varnish and will therefore require repolishing, the open shelves on the right hand side are notably stained, now appearing near white, the door fronts of the right section again show discolouration with water stains running down the glass and white smoke dust covering the shelves inside although most of this dust does just wipe away, central doors in fair order but will require some light repolishing, lower left hand side similar situation, light repolishing required, the lower left hand side down the bottom where the open shelves are has seen some damage and does need some attention, please do look at additional photographs and ask for any further images required.
