John Bell of Wigan. A rare balance wheel lever escapement brass skeleton timepiece, in the manner of James Condliff, Liverpool with enamelled Roman dial, later oak plinth and glass dome 11in. Height overall 15in.

Overall looks to be in good condition, probably cleaned and overhauled within the 10 - 20 years or so, movement going but not tested for timekeeping, base plinth possibly later certainly has a different colour from the main body of the clock as are the turned feet and the golden oak plinth.
