A late 19th century French ormolu hour repeating giant carriage clock, with alarm, with foliate scroll engraved case, enamelled Roman dial and blued steel moon hands, movement striking on a bell, numbered 6537, height 7in.

Case has a slightly matted gilt finish that may well be later and some very light wear to raised extremities, dial with a few tiny dirt specks but otherwise in good order, minute amount of chipping to the lower left of the glass to the dial showing just to the left of 6 o'clock, movement looks to be in good clean condition, numbered 6537, repeat functioning.
