The margins are visible on both woodblock prints with inscriptions down the left margins, however there are marks and slight losses to the surface of the paper on the margins where the mount was once fixed over them and there is some definite fading to the colours and some slight damp staining on both pictures, the print of the shrine also has some vertical scratching to the surface evident in the sky.
