This lot comes for sale from West Horsley Place.
The ground paper is discoloured to a buff tone with foxing showing particularly towards the lower right, housed in an old card mount and rathter tatty gilt frame, a label to the back with details of the work, along with a letter from Newhaven Court, 8th August written to Dear Daughter from F L-L Frederick Lord Leighton? which mentions works by Greenaway.
