Condition:
Oil on the original canvas which remains tight, overall rather dirty and would benefit from a good clean. A little fine but stable craquelure showing particularly in the white behind the cowls on the left. Probably the original guilt would frame in fair order, handwritten label of attribution verso stating signed and dated 1797 although this is now not visible.
