Condition:
Oil on canvas relined 30 - 40 years ago, canvas remains tight, paint now rather dirty with a fine craquelure running through most of the darker paint, signature towards the lower right corner looks a little clumsy in comparison with the rest of the work and possibly a later addition although for what reason one can only guess, housed in a contemporary painted wooden frame with cracking running in line with the grain of the timber below, no labels or inscriptions verso.
