John Poole of London. A coromandel wood cased travelling timepiece, in plain rectangular two tier box with enamelled Roman dial, detent blue escapement, blued steel hands and subsidiary seconds, width 3.75in. depth 4.75in. height 2.5in.

Overall in very good clean condition, the outer case possibly slightly faded but still of good colour, brass button operates the top lid which does have some fine hairline cracks in the top veneer, dial looks good, possibly some slight chipping near 9 and 10 at the extreme edge and also slightly out of line with being flush with the case, movement is concealed, interior lined in later blue velvet, base with later green baize, case has a working key.
