John Hocker of Reading. A George II oak eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch square brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, 6ft 10in.

Overall case in a high state of polish with a dark golden oak tone, looks to have been overhauled within the past 20 years ago or so, two clear vertical splits in the box base which also looks a little cut down but otherwise good, dial looks untouched and original with oxidising and wear marks, minute hand broken off and missing, movement looking rather dirty but intact, seatboard has been raised up approx. 0.5 inch, trunk door with no key, comes with winding key, brass covered lead pendulum and two brass wrapped weights, not tested for timekeeping.
