A few small scattered fox marks and a one inch long sepia tear or line near the top right corner, paper undulating so thought not to be laid down, paint probably a little faded but still retaining fair strength of colour, some other small scattered dirt specks and marks, approximately half of which are on the glass rather than the work, signed lower right, housed in the original gilt slip and gilt gesso frame which is now a little tatty.
