John Blaylock of Carlisle. A William IV mahogany eight day longcase clock, the 14 inch painted arched dial decorated with a scene of cattle drovers, 7ft 4in.

Case of good rich mahogany colour but overall in somewhat neglected condition, finials missing from hood,veneers around the hood door look to have been restuck and repolished at some time with a slightly different colour now, dial looks original, some chipping to paint as well as dirty marking, hands all look original, trunk door lacks a lock and also has veneer patching near the hinge, now had a brass knob handle, box base of clock with fair amount of cracking, splitting and veneer patching, four pillar movement complete but very dirty, hasn't run for some years, comes with pendulum and two iron weights.
