Condition:
Oil on canvas re-lined within the past 20 to 30 years or so canvas remains tight, paint very dark with slight stretch marks showing and a fine craquelure throughout. Apparently on signed but the signature may well be lost in the gloom. Housed in a later carved get wood frame, old label giving details of the artist verso.
