Slight undulation of the ivory with it lifting a little down the right handside, one fine crack running from 6 o'clock up to the tip of his finger, possibly very slight fading to the paint of the trees and sky, one or two small dirt specks, housed in an ornate giltwood arched mount and rosewood frame which has a few surface scratches, inscription to the back giving details of the artist and sitter.
