Condition:
A striking bronze in honest slightly neglected condition, patination varies from a coppery brown on his chest to a mid chocolate brown elsewhere, bow to the violin bent out of shape with strings a little loose, otherwise a little dusty with some oxidisation spots, roses to the plinth with wear to the gilding, bronze birds at the base are loose but should fix in place without difficulty, title plaque to the base of the work. In one piece, seated bronze figure 55cm from tip of left toe to top of head.
