Condition:
Oil on original canvas, untouched for many years, canvas remains tight, paint looks rather dirty with some fine hairlines of craquelure running through the sky and slight wrinkling of craqleure running through the darker areas below, some small signs of retouching in the sky, signed and dated lower right, housed in an old gilt gesso scroll frame which has suffered a few losses, Purchased from Nick Cotton Fine Art of Somerset.
