12.5 x 8.5in.
Estimate £500-700

Pencil and watercolour on a cream coloured paper which is rather grubby and discoloured, with some light creasing running in - one through her standing ankle, the other on the left near 9 o'clock, small scattered dirt marks, foxing and other signs of discoloured, a 1 inch vertical band of paper has been joined running down the right hand side presumably to give the composition a little more balance, acid stains around the mount, signed by the heel of the raised foot and dated '99. In a more recent plain card mount and glazed gilt frame, label verso for the Lefevre Gallery.
