Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, paint rather dirty and little dried out with lines of flaking running vertically particularly through the green leaf on the left, a small dented scuff just above 6 o'clock, signed top right, housed in the original painted wooden frame which is now rather rubbed, numerous labels and inscriptions verso as follows: artist's own label giving address of Stone Cross Cottage, Penzance; Orion Gallery label, Christie's bar code label and stencil number JM654; Galerie 1900-2000 of Paris and later ink inscriptions. 50 x 34.5cm front 51 x 36cm back
