Lot 720 , Indian necklace.

Indian necklace.

An Indian? double sided polychrome enamel, diamond and foil backed gem set flower head pendant on a triple strand cultured pearl necklace, set with four rose cut diamonds, necklace 13in.
Estimate £300-400

The necklace is 13 inches in length. The diamoeter of the pearls is roughly 3.9mm. Age is hard to establish but may be as late as the 1950's?.
The clasp/hook has a tendancy to become loose when not being worn and is currently separate from the necklace.
The enamelled side of the pendant is in generally good order, but there are some minute chips and nicks to the enamelled panels.
En verso, one of the diamonds has a surface reaching crack. One of the green cabochons is now missing and the others have surface abrasions ranging from nicks and scratches to small chips. There appears to be no visible damage to the cultured pearls.
