Ian Fleming, 30 Commando Assault Unit. A WWII German flag, signed by the members of the unit put together by Fleming in 1941, the flag was captured during the liberation of Paris in 1944 and signed by all the men that were on that mission, 48 x 31in., in display frame with a copy of Ian Fleming's Commandos by Nicholas Rankin, see condition report for additional provenance

The glass is not broken. The flag is a little grubby on the border and the white areas, there are a number of holes and small tears to the centre, and to the right handside of the cross and the odd other tiny hole here and there, some of the ink signatures are smudged and with some staining around the area.
