Hospitality memorabilia collectors: A rare Ritz-Carton Hotel damask cloth, early 20th century, double damask linen banqueting cloth from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, designed with large lions above crown motifs, being the hotel’s crested logo, signifying the elite noble bearing of the hotel’s image, the cloth woven and numbered P-17 with Ritz-Carlton along the edge, 228cm x 370cm. Condition; The cloth is strong still but where it has been stored for 80 years or so, has become discoloured and needs professional laundering and starching.
