Estimate £1,200-1,800

Probably John Holmes of London, recorded 1761-1802.

A good clock in honest untouched condition, a good rich mahogany colour for most of the case with the exception of the box base which has faded, a finial missing from the top of the hood possibly also elsewhere, key present for the glazed door, bottom left corner of that door missing a little bit of veneer, dial looks original with oxidised patching and signs of wear, hands looks original, movement dirty but appears to have been overhauled 30 years ago or so, was running in house, some small veneer cracks to the side of the trunk door, key present for that door, comes with extremely heavy large lead pendulum and two brass cased weights, overall a good piece in need of some cosmetic restoration.
