Naziri 1925 born a very light grey but went white early. Sire Skowronek was the Polish stallion purchased by Walter Winans from the Polish Stud for the sole purpose of modelling himself on the stallion. The horse was then sold on and later bought by Mr HVM Clark, the well known breeder of Arabs.
It is believed that Cecil Covey, the stud groom for Lady Wentworth, who owned the Crabbett Stud, either gave it to HVM Clark or left it to him when he died. Cecil Covey inherited the stud from Lady Wentworth.
