Watercolour on artist paper in untouched condition, slight hint of undulation of the paper, one or two scattered fox and dirt marks most notably three foxing spots to the left of the boat, colours no doubt a little faded but still retaining some strength, signed and dated lower left, under glass in probably the original gilt oak frame which is now a rather tired, original backing board retains the paper label inscribed by the artist no.2 Whipping for Pollock HS Tuke Linden Lodge, Hanwell W'. Also erased remnant of a Royal Society of Painters in Watercolours label along with Christie's stencil no's 847TT 233ER and S76EK.
Entered for sale from a deceased estate having been discovered in a house in Bexhill.
