Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, canvas remains tight, a fine craquelure showing through much of the paint particularly in the sky and this looks like it is slightly lifting in the upper area of the work, also stretcher marks showing particularly top and bottom. Signed lower right, paint is dirty and needs a clean, housed in a overpainted gilt scroll frame which is not particularly attractive and rather heavy, original title inscribed by the artist verso, label verso for A R Whibley & Son of Worthing.
