Lot 1110 , Hedley Fitton (1859-1929) The Pantheon, Rome, 17.5 x 22in.
Hedley Fitton (1859-1929)
etching,
The Pantheon, Rome,
signed in pencil,
17.5 x 22in.
Estimate £200-300
Some slight even discolouration of the ground paper which retains a rich creamish tone, possibly a hint of acid staining around the mount, one or two small scattered fox marks but overall good clean condition, signed in pencil lower right, looks very flat so thought to be laid down with an old card mount and ebonised frame which is probably the orignal and is now rather tatty. George Davidson of Glasgow label verso.
