There is an open crack running from the front right corner of the base all the way up through the rock to the front, the chips associated with the large crack are visible in the photographs, there is a glued repair to the front of the lower part of the rock section just above the signature that has been restored and patinated and is barely visible on the outside but is evident from the inside, there are numerous small chips and abrasions to the patinated finish with larger areas of terracotta coming through especially near the rear foot on the base.
