Condition:
Oil on canvas relined 10 to 20 years or so ago, canvas remains tight and paint in good clean condition, apparently unsigned, housed in a later gilt scroll frame which is in good order, William Rivett Gainsborough Gallery label verso. "Due to past issues with items being damaged in transit, we regret to inform you that we are unable to offer packing and posting services on all lots in this sale. This is non-negotiable. All items must be collected in person, or external packing companies can be recommended. Thank you for your understanding."
