Oil on original canvas showing some slight undulation with stretcher marks showing top and bottom along with original pin holes in the corners, may need a light clean but essentially looks good, signed lower left, canvas just starting to lift in the lower left corner, this may be as a result of the slip being perhaps slightly larger than the work it is housing, artists details inscribed on the back of the canvas, two small patches presumably repairing damage showing just to the left of the post with the white cloth upon it however neither of these show from the front. In purely a gilt slip frame with no further outer frame.
