Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint with one or two small scuff marks notably one small area in the sky where a fraction of canvas is showing through, otherwise with a slightly matted finish, apparently unsigned and may be slightly cut down in size, housed in a modern gilt frame, no labels verso. Possibly representing the triumphal entry into Florence of Cosimo I the Medici, after he reclaimed power over the city.
