Frank Salisbury married Alice Maude (1877-1951), daughter of C. Colmer Greenwood in 1901, with whom he had several children, including twin daughters Monica and Sylvia. His first Royal Academy exhibit was a portrait of Alice and he often painted pictures of their children.

Condition:
Pronounce private collection. Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition. Canvas remains tight, paint a little dirty with some fine but stable craquelure particularly near her hat. Signed and dated top right. Housed in what maybe the original guilt would frame with a Bourlet label on the stretcher.
