Condition:
Oil on an old oak panel with a very slight upwards bulge, paint in good clean condition with a fine but stable craquelure running throughout, some small spots of retouching particularly dead centre in the sky, fairly recent shiny varnish on top, housed in an old but not original gilt frame with various artists names and dates inscribed on a label verso.
