On January 7, 1917, in Budapest, there were demonstrations against Germany, with the windows of the German Consulate being broken. This event occurred during a time of great upheaval in Europe, with World War I ongoing and the Austro-Hungarian Empire facing internal tensions. This was no doubt the topic of conversation over a dinner shared by the great minds of the time in Budapest, two days later.
