The figure is in good order apart from being a little dirty and the lacquer finish being a little uneven.
The bronze section of the lower part of the base (seperate to the figure) has been knocked out of shape and poorly repaired leaving two parallel rows of small dents around an approximate 2 inch section with some individual dents further around. The wooden part ofthe base has some small chips and dents with a minor repair to the underside of the foot.
The serpentine pedestal is in fair condition. There are numerous small chips and losses and some larger losses and repairs. There appears to be a well executed repair diagonally accross the pillar. There are numerous paint splashes and some red paint/lacquer to the column.
