Note: First published (in Dutch) Amsterdam, 1678; this edition was based on the Spanish which (perhaps not surprisingly) had taken liberties with the original text; Morgan bringing a successful libel suit against the printers.

All plates and pages present. Text good, bar staining to lower right margins pp.49-114 and 105-150 and pp. 55 to end in part III. vol. I. Text to vol. 2 good. 3cm closed tear to plate 'Battle between the Spaniards'.
