Watercolour on paper laid on card, no doubt some fading of the colours but still retaining fair strength and difference of tone with pinkish tints in the sky and brownish tints in the foreground, greens and blues in the body of the sea, one or two small scattered dirt marks but most of the marks seen are on the glass rather than the work itself, signed lower left and housed in its original glazed gilt gesso frame which has some small chips and knocks around the edges and damage to the lower left corner.
