A glass mascot by René Lalique, introduced on 5/6/1929, No.1153 in satin and frosted glass with a slight amethyst tint, signed moulded in relief in capitals 'R.LALIQUE' with 'FRANCE' in smaller capitals on the lower part of the rear neck, on contemporary Breves Galleries radiator mounting base and later wood socle Height with mount 13.5cm, overall 20.5cm.

Slightly ground down around the bottom edge of the base to fit the Breves mount which eats into the signature MORE NOTABLY THE BASE OF THE MASCOT HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH A NEW CIRCLE OF GLASS HAVING BEEN GLUED ON. Mount removes to show no chips to the underside.
