Condition:
Oil on probably mill board, paint with a rather shiny varnish over a broad separating but stable craquelure showing particularly in the darker background but also in the forehead, apparently unsigned, housed in probably the original gilt gesso frame which is a little tatty, old label verso perhaps giving the name of the sitter. Provenance: Consigned for sale from a local private collection.
