Condition:
Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, painted rather dirty with a fine but stable craquelure throughout and looking a little flattened from the relining, signs of a patched hole near 2 o'clock, some light scuffing elsewhere, housed in probably the original gilt gesso frame which is now rather tatty, label with attribution to the sitter verso.
