Cleaned and relined within the past 20 years or so, canvas showing some undulation, figure stands slightly to the left there may well be some cropping down from what was once a larger work, a fine but stable craquelure running throughout the paint, hair and costume look to have seen a fair amount of retouching at some point, picture remains clean, housed in a 17th century style ebonised frame which is in good order, label verso for Lane Fine Art.
