Eight Japanese ivory netsuke and four other items, late 19th / early 20th century, the netsuke carved as Jurojin and a tortoise, a boy with a daruma doll, a monk with a drum, a man seated on a giant fish, a man on a giant shoe, a figure clambering on a clam shell, a daruma doll and a kneeling figure with large head and pendulous ear lobes, 2.5cm - 3.3cm, together with a carved wood netsuke of three men standing around a giant nut, 3.5cm, an ivory figure of a camel, 5.5cm, a Chinese peach stone carving of men and oxen, 3.8cm and a resin netsuke (12)

Netsukis of figure climbing on clamshell, monk with drum, and kneeling figure of a large head, all have fine age cracks to ivory. Netsuki of man on giant shoe is probably a walrus ivory as has oval plug beneath where the core would have been. Other ivory netsuke and the wood netsuke are in good condition. Ivory figure of camel- good condition. Chinese carved peach stone bead in good condition. The final netsuke is a resin copy, good condition.
