Oil on original wooden panel in good untouched condition, panel remains flat, a fairly shiny varnish on the paint and some lines of broad but stable craquelure showing just beyond the sitters hand in the wall, a few small scattered dirt specks so would probably benefit from cleaning, signed and dated top right and housed in probably the original giltwood frame which is now looking a little dirty, no labels or inscriptions verso, comes for sale from a local private collection.
