Estimate £700-1,000

Overall this piece looks to be in honest untouched condition, colour is mid to light rosewood toned, boxwood stringing all looks good, white inlay is either ivory or ivorine, if pushed we would actually say ivorine rather than ivory, no grain is visible and the tone is slightly yellowed but we cannot guarantee what the material is, interior is lined in puce velvet which is probably not original but shows some wear and a little fading, mid drawer has the Edwards & Roberts stamp, upper surface above the mid drawer shows a little light surface scuffing and some paint flecking along with some hairline cracks around the bowed edge, understage is perhaps slightly more faded than elsewhere and shows minor nicks and scuffs to the edges of the legs and understage commensurate with use but overall good condition.
