Oil on board, paint looks to have been cleaned relatively recently, a number of scattered dents and knocks throughout the work and some broad but stable craquelure showing throughout the paint, housed in a Victorian birds eye maple frame which is probably associated, sky looks like it may well have been overpainted, letter on the back describes what the scene is depicting, no other inscriptions or labels.
