Oil on canvas relined many years ago, canvas remains tight, paint rather dark and dirty with a fine but stable craquelure scattered throughout, no sign of any signature, under glass and housed in what looks to the original gilt gesso frame, which is a little tatty and once had a title plaque, no inscriptions or labels verso.
