Oil on canvas which looks to be the original showing some slight sagging, the paint very dirty with a fine craquelure running throughout, dark clouds painted in the top left corner, looks perhaps to have some later touching and this may be replicated to the right, but otherwise all paint looks original, no sign of any signature, housed in an old gilt gesso scroll frame which is in fair order, and under glass, brief inscription verso relating to the ship.
