Oil on canvas relined many years ago, paint rather dark and dirty with some fine craquelure showing throughout, numerous dents and holes knocked through the work which can clearly be seen in the photograph including multiple stabbings with a three pin plug, apparently unsigned, housed in a period carved giltwood and gesso frame which has been overpainted in gold paint, overall extensive restoration required, no sign of any signature or labels verso.
