Case of a good rich mahogany tone, somewhat dull on the top with scattered minor splits, scuffs and dents commensurate with age, top handle slightly bent out of shape, curved wooden section that it is set into a little out of shape from the brass rim that sits beneath it, verdigris and oxidisation spotting on all of the brass work, front door has lock with working key that also works the back door, small section of damage to the ivory escutcheon, fine hairline cracking running left and right of the bezel, door opens to reveal slow / fast adjustment above 12 o'clock, enamelled dial looks good, one or two tiny hairline cracks near 1 o'clock and near 7/8, central, blued steel hands may well be later, fine vertical cracks above each of the side panels, back door has lost its escutcheon and has damage to the left side and near top right corner, movement looks to be in good clean condition but not tested for timekeeping, comes with adjustable pendulum that has lost its retention clip and what looks to be an associated bell, comes with case key and two winding keys.
