Duncan Grant, a black cloth bound lined paper notebook, used by the artist as a diary, with pencil sketch of a standing nude and entries dating from 21st January 1911, commencing with the artist's 26th birthday stating 'Mother gave me this book as a present also a cushion plus a sponge ...', entries run through to October 10th and mostly recount meetings and thoughts of the day, 15 x 10cm

Overall honest condition, the spine just starting to loosen and the front board pulling away, some discolouration around the edges of the pages, all inscriptions are in pencil but for a few notes on a back page in ink, also houses a photograph with inscription on the back 'Morgan Forster Charleston Garden 1923'.
